London Riots 2011: A Day By Day Account
First the good news: at the time of writing this article, the riots that broke out on August 4, in London, and have since spread to several major cities, have largely abated. People have begun the cleaning up process and investigations are underway, with several rioters being identified and arrested.
The unrest has been described by one journalist as “the worst disturbances of their kind since the 1995 Brixton riots”. Several reasons have been theorized to explain why the riots began.

The self-styled scriptural scholar who is a radio host and leader of an obscure Christian movement has used biblical texts to arrive at the date of the apocalypse. Millions of Camping’s followers have heeded the warning and embarked on a huge campaign to inform people through “Judgment Day” billboards spread across the United States.
