And after we brainstormed, we realised that there were at least three secret reasons why Rakhi Sawant wants to marry Baba Ramdev. We call them secret reasons because Rakhi only said that Ramdev’s yoga sessions had made a powerful impact on her life but did not talk about these real reasons for her historic announcement. Here, then, are the three real reasons for Rakhi Sawant’s announcement:

Reason # 1: Money

Sawant has been around for some time in showbiz, and it has been a lot of hard work, though she has enjoyed a fair share of success. She has also grown fond of the good things in life and they cost money, which isn’t going to be around forever. There will come a time when her career is sure to ebb and work will be hard to come by. What better way of guaranteeing that the good times last than picking on a rich man to marry. And what better choice than Ramdev, who has a fortune estimated to be in the region of 500 million dollars. And Sawant is smart enough to be the first to offer the man a chance of enjoying domestic bliss, while his wife is out shopping.

Reason # 2: Publicity

Rakhi likes to be at the centre of things, with everyone paying her attention, and all the newspapers and TV channels covering her every move. In fact, it’s become an addiction. By marrying Ramdev, Rakhi will be guaranteed plenty of media attention, as the guru himself is no shrinking violet when it comes to hogging the limelight.

Reason # 3: Beauty & Intelligence

Rakhi loves kids and wants to have many children of her own, and she wants them to have both beauty and intelligence – her beauty and his intelligence. This reminds me of the time famous playwright Bernard Shaw met a beautiful girl at a party who wanted to marry him, so their children would have her beauty and his brains.
